The biographical film about the great David Bowie has arrived…sort of. It was shown at the San Diego International Film Festival this month and fans are not pleased. Comments on social media, including the YouTube trailer below, show the real disappointment. And after watching the trailer, I can’t help but agree. I think maybe we wanted to see Bowie in more of a cool rocker image. But ‘Stardust’ tells the story of the struggles Bowie went through in breaking through the music scene. You know who impresses in this film is actor/comedian Marc Maron. He plays the record rep who was one of the few people who believed in Bowie. Check out the trailer and see what you think.
